The highlight of our trip was watching Chelsea perform on the stage at the Kennedy Center. Chelsea sang with the two Glendora High School Choirs during the competition in the afternoon. Chelsea sang again in the evening for the Encore presentation with the other winning vocal and orchestra groups.

Washington National Cathedral
Georgetown, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Washington, DC, served as a major port and commercial center during colonial times because of its prime location on the Potomac River. Today, Georgetown is a vibrant community with upscale shops, bars and restaurants along its cobblestone streets.
Martin's Tavern is the oldest family-owned restaurant in Washington, D.C., founded in 1933. The tavern has hosted each U.S. President from Harry S. Truman to George W. Bush.
